Ergo Carrier vs. Moby Wrap?

I was wondering if anyone has tried both the Ergo Carrier AND the Moby Wrap (similar to the Didymos, Storchenwiege and Ellaroo Wraps)?

I have the Moby and am thinking of getting the Ergo, but wasn’t sure if it really had any advantages over the Moby. The only thing I could see is that it may be a little quicker & easier to get baby in/out. Wasn’t sure if that alone was worth the $92 investment.

We have both. The Moby was fantastic for early on, but the wrapping makes it inconvenient to take with you. If you do, then you either have to wear it while you’re in transit (I have worn it in the car) or risk getting it filthy when you put it on. The Ergo is super comfortable also, but is much more convenient. You don’t have to worry about having room to put it on. Plus, with the little extra pouch that’s available, you can toss in a diaper and a pack of wipes and your keys and be good to go. Another thing – with the Ergo, you can put the baby in the back without requiring help. (It takes practice, but can be done alone.)
