First Steps Baby Sister, what to buy?!?
Hey there girlies: o) Actually, my sister is 32 and having her first baby (That girl). We're going to have a baby shower for her in November and the baby is due in January. I already have a good idea what I'll buy it. She did not record or anything, but I'll buy a big basket filled with pink and lots of babies and clothing up to one year. My sister is not very girly and do not go shopping, so I thought I would buy as many clothes as my budget permits. I also intend to buy something out of its register whenever that will be made. Anyway, do you have any ideas of what I have to put in the basket, then other clothes? What are the things you have done for a pregnant woman or a mother already what are the things you never buy but would like as a gift? thank you! I appreciate it.
Honestly, your idea sounds very sweet and you sound like a wonderful sister to have …. but …. If you have enough money to buy some clothes and other things I'd probably use that money to buy a bigger thing she will get plenty of use (swing, for example, play mat, bouncer etc.) and a costume wonderful that you love. I just had my baby and many, many people give you cute as required budget most people extends to an outfit as a gift, but not something bigger. I struggled out clothes clothing as they grow up so fast. If you are went ahead with your idea, it would be much appreciated I'm sure, but as an aunt I consider buying a bigger thing she use a little. A good friend of mine bought me a rocker for my baby and I was so impressed. He is sitting in my living room and she sees every time she visits and I feel good that she sees in use. Whatever you do, it will be appreciated! PS. If you go with a few cart things I had been given – ("I was not going to use it like most moms, but we all seem to cave) a dummy – a dummy clip – A rubber duck (or similar) that you put in water to test the temperature of the bath. – A wrist rattle or one with a skinny little grip handle. – Comfortable, washable changing mat / cloth pads to go on the carpet of cold plastic (baby has so many accidents and I bought one!) – while thin muslin or flannel large envelopes that you can swaddle with. – Burp cloths (I have a puker!) Looks like you'll be a great aunt!
