Moms: the best "new mom" gift that you could?
For me it was the use of a service layers … A friend (who already has a diaper service) just had her first baby (after two miscarriages and a difficult pregnancy), and we would get her something unique, and just for her. Any ideas? cheers.
A rocking chair. My best friend told me with a white wood my name, my husband and the baby's name / DOB on it. 10.5yrs later and I still love this thing! Not only did I rock all my babies to sleep this thing over the years, but I sit in and relax or read. Each of my children have their name engraved on it now and took a turn for the rocking chair in their room. They were angry about it, letting the new baby's room once they were brought home. I am looking foward it to be in my room when my youngest grew up. Another idea is the gift of your time and assistance. I loved when people brought us meals, offered to clean up a bit so it was one less thing I had to do or offer to watch the baby while few hours so I can sleep. Best wishes =]
