Gifts For New Born Baby Boys
If my third baby get a baby shower? Should I save for things I really need?
I am pregnant with my third boy. When he was born, my oldest is 6 and my other little guy is 2 1 / 2. If the new baby shower? Ive done a lot of reading and some people think its perfectly acceptable, others think its just not done. Without even asking for a shower, my mother in law said she wouldnt throw me one. In its opinion, its just not appropriate. For me, it sounds like shes saying this baby is not as important or worthy of a party, gifts, etc. The thing is, my first two boys did not have nice things to begin with or they are old. I rcvd a new journey for my son the first who was sent to my second. The thing is now 6 years & really worn. Our first crib was used, no expensive and did not last long. Our nursery was used too & 2 is not in good shape. The hand-me-down crib that I used for two of them collapsed long ago. I also did not expect to get pregnant again, so I have baby clothes (I'm not a pack-rat). Thoughts? Opinions?
