Gift Baskets For New Baby Girl
Parents, what is the item that was most useful to you with a new baby?
A friend of ours had a baby girl yesterday, we'll probably go see it today or tomorrow. I thought I would take a small gift basket for her, which already has a blanket, sheet, some "lively links" and a couple of toys that make noise when you press them. I know she probably will not care about noise makers for a time, but they were cute. There is some space left in the basket, and there is also a shower planned for the near future. So … As a new parent, which is the only thing you have been very grateful to have?
I have a host family and has never had babies, but it was a new parent many times .. Here are some suggestions that she would like. Diapers / wipes and the like. Or an Amazon gift card as Target Toys R Us or for it to get something she needs .. (Stuff that I am always pleased to have with my 5 boys!) If it reads, some good books then it will take time instead of me all the time baby will turn its our more! For some its salts bubble bath to relax with while her husband watches the baby for a while. I got these for a good friend of mine and her husband, my fishing buddy old, called me A few weeks later and wanted to know where to get more, it was a perfect thing to help his wife relax and be more human as he says. And an additional memory card for digital cameras because they have a ton of pictures now! And maybe a book on how to make better photos if many of them will look better and be developed … 
Now, some funny ideas that are very useful and it will make you laugh to hear speak, and later realize how right they were … A roll of duct tape .. It has many uses … Including keeping children in one place and better behavior. At least threating them with her help too. A good stiff shot of brandy to help him sleep when he needs it! Earplugs …. sleeping pills to sleep, or maybe that will help children sleep better … You think, but would never give it to them …. headphones to listen to music and not hear the children scream and talk! Flyers for the summer camps and boarding schools …… I hope all is well and enjoy the new addition to the family!
