The value of Hans Christian Andersen’s Fairy Tales, published by Flensted, of Odense, Denmark?

These books (set of 2 volumes) were published and issue from Hans Christian’s home town of Odense, Denmark, by the publishing firm of “Flensted”, located in Hans’ hometown. The reprint date of Volume I, is of 1953. Volume II, is of 1956, the date this set was actually purchased at Hans hometown, Odense, Denmark

unless there is something special about them (e.g. a famous person has signed them) they won’t be that valuable

it is normally only first editions that become valuable – or very rare books – and this set was published over 75 years after Andersen’s death

there is a copy of the 1953 volume here for £6 (about $9 US)
