Boy Airplane
Good comedy movies can cheer after a difficult week, and even scientific evidence that suggests a link between laughter with better health. Although I am not a Patch Adams, who do not care about the welfare of my readers, so I've compiled a list of 12 films, good comedy that might otherwise go unnoticed. Some modern comedy classics are included, but you will also find foreign comedies, and even cult comedy classic comedies.
Groundhog Day (1993) – Phil Connors (Bill Murray) is a misanthropic time television is regrettable to have to cover the annual ceremonies of Groundhog Day in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. But imagine their surprise when a snowstorm strands in her small town, and Phil suddenly finds himself living the same day repeatedly. Murray perfect as the joker fool who finds redemption gradual, and Andie MacDowell is a beautiful love story.
The Princess Bride (1987) – conceived as a fairy tale read by grandfather (Peter Falk) to his sick little boy (Fred Savage), The Princess Bride tells the story of Westley (Cary Elwes), a farm worker who seeks to regain his true love, Buttercup (Robin Wright), having been given up for dead. But Buttercup is in the clutches of the evil Prince Humperdinck (Chris Sarandon), Westley and so must seek the help of the mass Fezzik (André the Giant) and a Spanish named Inigo Montoya (Mandy Patinkin). A comedy for all the wonderful ages, also has many romance, fantasy and action.
Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) – Cary Grant plays Mortimer Brewster, a young bride who discovers that his aunts and his brother are crazy. The two aunts have poisoned single people and burying them in the basement, and brother Mortimer is convinced that is Teddy Roosevelt. But things get even more complicated for Mortimer when his other brother, Jonathan (Raymond Massey) arrives. As a result, Jonathan is totally psychotic, and soon plotting to kill the only stable member of the family. Despite the horrific nature of the crimes committed, the movie is a comedy (and a damn good one at that).
The Perfect Crime (2004) – A black comedy, Spain after The Perfect Crime Rafael (Guillermo Toledo), a shop salesman bucking for a promotion. He also slept with every woman in her department expect: the family of Lourdes (Monica Cervera). But when an accident suddenly produced a fresh corpse, Rafael is indebted to Lourdes and intends to collect … with a vengeance.
The large Lebowski (1998) – If you want to experience what it called "the cult of the Internet age", so be sure to view this lazy comedy Joel and Ethan Coen. Jeff Bridges, The Dude, a Stoner made a millionaire of the same name and created a Web site of the plot. Fans attend an annual celebration called Lebowski Fest, and film is full of quotable dialog. Also starring John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Sam Elliott.
Kentucky Fried Movie (1977) – Before flying! and Naked Gun films, writers Jim Abrahams, David Zucker and Jerry Zucker has created this silly movie parody sketch comedy no educational film kung fu. The unusual distribution includes Bill Bixby, Tony Dow, Donald Sutherland, and George Lazenby. Directed by John Landis, who was in court comedy like National Lampoon's Animal House, Trading Places and Tres Amigos.
Hollywood Shuffle (1987) – Robert Townsend directed, produced, co-wrote and stars in this tale of a struggling actor to succeed in Hollywood. Full of humor and satire parodies reflections on stereotypes often given to minorities, the film was paid for with credit cards Townsend. A number of future stars made appearances, including Keenan Ivory Wayans and Damon Wayans.
The Kid (1921) – The Tramp (Charles Chaplin) takes in an abandoned child (Jackie Coogan) takes care of him and taught him the intricacies of being a thief. But when workers social tried to separate the duo, the rover is ready to take steps to regroup. As with most classic comedies of Chaplin, the movie laughter mixed with moments of sadness and social commentary. It is a silent film, by the way, but do not let it stop experiencing the magic of Chaplin.
Cabin Boy (1994) – A former writer for David Letterman Chris Elliott plays Nathaniel Mayweather, the arrogant heir to the hotel. Trying to address the Queen Catherine of Hawaii has fallen into the fishing boat called The Whore bad foul. Now, stranded at sea with a crew unhappy (for example Brian Doyle-Murray and James Gammon), Nathaniel has to earn their keep and deal with all the dangers of the Cube of hell, including a jealous giant (Mike Starr), a monster iceberg, and a small cake like spitting snuff. Although it is a grotesque comedy which should be perfect for those whose taste in humor is unconventional.
Eurotrip (2004) – After discovering that his long-time correspondent is really a beautiful girl, recently high school graduate Scotty Thomas (Scott Mechlowicz) travels to Germany to do things. He is joined three friends (including Michelle Trachtenberg) and their adventures are football hooligans, the Italians love, and a nude beach full of men only. Watch Matt Damon in a cameo singer of a group.
Soap (1991) – The plots of soap operas are funny enough on its own, but this film raises the bet to take a look behind the scenes in the drama The Sun Also Sets. The stellar cast includes Sally Field, Robert Downey Jr., Kevin Kline, Whoopi Goldberg, Teri Hatcher, Elizabeth Shue y.
The tall blond man with a shoe Black (1972) – remade in the U.S. as Man With One Red Shoe (with Tom Hanks) the classic French comedy stars Pierre Richard Francis Perrin, violinist unfortunate who are caught in the struggle for power between two French secret service. Full of slapstick comedy, action, and a touch of eroticism French liberal.
