how unsafe is it to lift a toddler when your 2 months pregnant?
i know when your pregnant you shouldnt be lifting anything over 20 lbs. i do however have a 2 year old who is 26 lbs and sometimes theres no getting around me not lifting her. for example im alone with her 5 days a week and i at least need to get her up into her high chair,crib and bath tub. is this something i should worry about???
You are perfectly fine, that 20lb tale is a old wives tales. You are instructed to not lift anything you are NOT normally used to lifting. Your body doesn’t see your daughter as being 26lbs you are used to that weight so it doesn’t ply pressure.
I have 3 other children ranging from 6 to 3 and I lift them just as I lifted them when I was pregnant with other one!
