Baptism Gift For Baby Boy
bring a gift / present for a Catholic baptism?
I've never been a prior baptism. Do I have to bring a gift? If so, what? This is for a 6 months old. thanks.
It is not necessary, but nice of you. One of my aunts, my daughter has what I thought was a smart gift – Took a plastic and rubber filled with animals, two of each species to represent the Ark of Noah. My daughter has played with him in the tub for years. There a religious issue, but also creative – I really appreciated because we have a lot of religious things. If he had circulated around the nursery would have seemed Christian Store! If you can find a middle ground, something that represents the rite of Baptism and * something * that "child-friendly and useful, will be gold. Good luck.
