Knitting baby clothes – A family tradition
I will share with you the story of a woman who was taught by her mother on how to weave clothes baby and how he spent his knowledge of the skills of their children and grandchildren.
When my grandmother was still in its first, knitting baby clothes each of their children. His children always asked, what makes it so special for knitting? And each time she said that knitting is offering a nice feeling for his personnel, especially when he sees knitwear used by children.
When I was a little kid, my grandmother taught me to knit. As soon as my chubby fingers could hold needle, without hurting me, it was not long to teach me to knit. When I was six and grandmother of sites already if not, I did the needle for her.
At eight years old, my mother wove a comprehensive source of apparel for me. I remember specifically point is especially the red scarf decorated. I agree and certify that there is something special clothes by hand. It goes beyond current models, colors and quality of work. So when she married and became pregnant with my first child, I felt the need to knit baby clothes for my son. I started plan what my baby would be wearing clothes when he comes home from the hospital and started knitting. The problem is when it was very difficult to stop. Tissue has become endless for me.
The children's clothing is more than easy to save money or make the clothes that we want our babies to wear. It's our way of showing our love for them.
Over the years, I continued to sew, knit and crochet clothes for my children. They have a variety of knit items in your closet, clothes, blankets, pants, caps, sweaters, and even for everyone. I never stopped weaving love for them. Sometimes I even wondered if this hobby that goes hand and I almost gave up this when I came across something that says I should do should not.
Recently, I visited my daughter 22 years of age. I saw the sweater knit for her covering her favorite teddy bear. The teddy bear was placed on top of his dresser. On her desk was a cover he did for her.
My son 19 years is elderly and living on their own. While there are things left in the house when he moved, he never left the blanket that I knitted for him, who was involved in it all the way to the hospital after giving birth. Even creates clothing for the majority of which are patches and other strange designs do not understand.
My Dress aside 15 years of his party I did for her when she was just six months. And guess what, when I found? I found neatly folded in the treasure box very little, which contains special items that mean a lot to her.
My two sons, one is a child of 10 years and the other is 12, has held I used blankets to wrap them when he reached the hospital after delivery. It became his favorite blanket.
Thus, we see all the hard work and long hours knitting ends up paying. When they grow up to become parents and have their own family, I sincerely hope that may arise with the weaving tradition and history accompanying their children and grandchildren.
