Do I send my old boss a "Congratulations" card and gift basket for her new baby?
I just discovered that my former boss gave birth. She is on maternity leave but I want to send a congratulatory card and maybe a little something for the baby like a little gift basket. First, is it appropriate? and secondly, where do I send it since she is on maternity leave and that is not in his office. I did home or something like that.
I would say that sending it would be appropriate depending how have you along with it and if she sees you as a friend or just a former employee … for me, seems a bit personally.
