Arizona State University Sun Devils
Located in the heart of the desert makes a vibrant city called Tempe, Arizona. There, in the Wild West is a football game is the rivalry between the country's oldest, dating from before Arizona was admitted as a state. This game is known as "The Big Game," " The Duel in the Desert ", or simply a battle for the Territorial Cup. Founded in 1899, is the rivalry between our beloved Sun Devils and the misery of the University of Arizona Wildcats. The NCAA recognizes the Territorial Cup as the oldest trophy. The first game was played on Thanksgiving Day, November 30, 1899 in gardens Carrillo on the ground in Tucson, Arizona. Front only 300 fans screaming, Arizona State (then known as the name of the Tempe Normal School) won the cup. The place where the trophy there until 80 is a mystery to this day.
In 2001, President Lattie Coor USS mandate Territorial Cup would be shared with the University of Arizona in the last game of the season. The winner, has had the trophy the following year until a new winner is decided. At the end of each game, the winning team is presented with a replica of the Cup of the territory, which is placed in the office of President of the University. For security reasons, the real trophy is allowed to be transported by the police, under the gaze of the archivists of the University, which will be displayed in the Hall of Fame at the school.

In 2001, after defeating the Sun Devils at Sun Devil Stadium, Arizona players started dancing at the command of the ASU and making fun of the players, singing "weigh!"
