Abba Mamma Mia story revolves around Donna (originally played by Siobhan McCarthy) and her daughter, Sophie and takes place in a fictional Greek island where Donna has and runs a tavern, catering to locals and tourists. Sophie is about to marry her fiancé, Sky, and his father loves him away from his marriage, but she is not sure of her identity as Donna does not want to talk about his past. By chance, Sophie finds her mother's old diary entries available to intimate dates with three men Donna.
As she has no idea of the right man, she invites everyone to the wedding without Donna's knowledge, which led to confusion when all three occur. Harry Head Banger Bright, Bill Austin, Sam Carmichael form the trio. Old friends Donna, Tanya, a rich divorced three times, and Rosie, an unmarried woman who likes to have fun also highlighted. In complex, consisting of Donna and the Dynamos "Twenty years ago. Initially believing that Bill is her father, Sophie asks him to give. Later, the other two also believe that it is they who will be writing. To cope with the mix, Sophie decides that his mother should give him. This leads to a confrontation with Donna on the question Sam paternity. As the scene progresses, it becomes clear that Sam and Donna are still madly in love, angry and against their will.

A film version Mamma Mia musical, directed by Phyllida Lloyd, starring Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus as executive producers, is scheduled for summer 2008.
