8 month old baby hates cot?

She was a wonderful sleeper when she was in her Amby natures nest (a bit like a hammock) but she is too big for it now.
We put her in her cot and she goes bananas.
So we now let her sleep in her chair in the cot and she sleeps all night.
I’m sure she hates the flat hard surface. Does anyone know of a soft matress that is safe for babies?? It seems to be my last option…unless anyone has any other idea….please

put one of those soft blankets underneat her, she is prob so use to the amby natures nest, she will get use to the cot dont give up.
