Catch Big Crappie crocodile in the lake!
I take a bluegill cloudy water surrounding the Cypress Knee, where weeds and lily pads 35 feet behind me exploded in a shower of water and mud. The coot was seen naively puddle in the grass seemed to have been the breakfast of a large crocodile.
Lake Jessup in central Florida is home to about 10,000 alligators and one of them came to break the water, grass and a black duck. It's a little disconcerting to know that these round balls floating in the water are the eyes of a six-foot alligator. In this lake, six feet under.
The water below us was five to six feet deep and under the fish finder, there were many of them under the boat. Use minnows fiberglass poles 12 foot, which had been drifting along the edge of weed beds and lily pads until we got one, then anchored for a while.

Alligators or not, it was easy to catch our limit of crappie every day there. Besides catching fish, I threw up some prayers that the boat capsize and throw myself into the lake with all that could be hiding there.
